A CHALLENGE, one of many
Feeling overwhelmed I quickly put blogging at the bottom of my – to do list and went on to successfully accomplish other projects, until finally I couldn’t postpone it any longer. As I had quickly and easily mastered 3 other major projects, I reasoned that I was better mentally prepared to face the challenge of WordPress again.
The field of Computer Science is infinite; a person may be versed in one program and totally unfamiliar with other main stream programs. I was surprised to discover that many people who are versed with the computer, was so unfamiliar with the WordPress platform, that I became an authority figure on WordPress to them. Go figure!!!
Folks, it pays to be humble and to approach each system with humility and respect; especially as operating systems becomes outdated and obsolete so quickly, in this unique rapidly growing Industry of Computer Science.
Society teaches the importance of multi – tasking, doing major projects all at the same time. However, during this steep learning curve the second time around using the WordPress software. I was emotionally bankrupt, I lost the energy, the drive or the interest to view and make daily comments on Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter pages. Neither did I market and promote Real Estate On-Line Advertising Services. Instead, I was obsess with the desire to complete my first blog, unlike my first attempt this time, I was determine to find a way to rap my head around the simplicity of the platform. Thanks to YouTube and the many different tutorials, patience with my- self and continuous repetition of deleting designs and starting over and over again, I PREVAILED, I ACCOMPLISHED my goal of designing my first basic WP blog.
I am confident with my basic understanding of WordPress, uploading images, installing sliders; I’m comfortable in that arena. Blog training and SEO Strategies, I still have to spend more time with those tutorials. Resizing images remains my biggest challenge. As you view my blog page please, REMEMBER I’m still a work in progress.
6 blogs are already published, it’s simple with excellent content, presently they all could benefit greatly from SEO strategies to maximize SEO’s ranking. Still I’m delighted with my effort to conquer my challenges the second time around, more than I am at the actual site, as it’s in need of bells and whistles to look vibrant, I assure you that will come with time.
BLOGGING
After personally experiencing the learning curves and challenges of WordPress, I would strongly recommend that all business owners who do not have a blog to RUN and EMBRACE the WordPress Platform. It is a PHEONOMIAL program. YES it is tedious and challenging especially if you do not hire a designer, or have assistance from friends to give simple tips and pointers which often makes such a big difference, but Wow!!! It is an AWESOME platform.
A blog gives transparency to your ideas; it is the ability to write about your own Company, Product, Service, Promotion, or any topic you deemed worthy for your success.
In essence it is a powerful tool in your marketing arsenal for anything associated with your Company’s growth potential. It serves as an in-expensive tool which allows YOU to write descriptive advertising to communicate effectively to your target audience. Subscribers can get to know the core value, of everything you deemed worthy to your business goal. Their free REPLY, communicates volume to the effectiveness and accuracy of your current project on the market. This data allows you the opportunity to make easy adjustments, saving a project from failure, while ensuring that your service is on track to provide true customer service and value in the market.
Since 8/19 /2014, I have not run a Facebook Ad; Subsequently they keep asking what am I up to. Truthfully, I’ve given birth to:

- I Wrote 4 blogs which is un-published at this time
- March 18, 2015, I lost one completed website www.reolas1.com
- My latest EXPERIENCE, a 74 day’s journey March 18- May 31, 2015.
Attempting to re-design www.reolas1.com into www.reolaservics. com on the WordPress platform, I ran into un-expected challenges with the functionality of the theme I was using. Unfortunately, the site is presently parked.
After spending days searching through several themes, I finally found a theme which was super, super FANTASTIC. Sadly after 3 weeks I had to abandon the design.
I couldn’t get the page to customize in 3 major areas. The theme support community had endless pages of users asking the Support staff and other users in the community for help in various areas of the design. When I saw my WordPress deletion count reached 76, I had reached the end of my love walk. Although the theme is top notch, TIME SPENT trying to rebuilding www.reolaservices.com was proving to be un-productive.
ACHIEVEMENT & ACCOMPLISHMENT through Internet Marketing
Internet marketing is so crucially important to the success of a business today, yet the market is so young and oh! So dynamic, any – one who achieves any form of success, is called a GURU.
Subsequently, they too are learning, experimenting, fumbling and growing just as you and I. Thankfully, we draw strength from their experiences, they become our heroes as we honor their achievements ahead of us, we humble our-self with humility, dignity and honor to the industry with the belief, the determination and the pursuit of excellence. Believing that we too will be able to tweet and work out all glitches in our business. Then we too shall have the just reward of success for our time, learning, effort and usefulness of our product or service in the market place.
In my blog “From the Ground Up.” I wrote about the Industrial Revolution which began in Great Britain in 1698, where the first machine, The Steam Engine was built 317 years ago. This was the turning point in man’s life where everything which was done through Manual Labor, Animal Brute Force Strength or by Ship on the Sea; was now produced by machines. Labor went from manual production to being produced by machines only. Production increased tremendously and the Gross National Product of the economy rose for the first time in history.
In the blog “Today what it takes to Dominate in the Commercial Market?” I discussed the American Revolution, the successful business operation of 3 legendary men Henry Ford, John D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie. Their Companies, the Foundation, the Legacy, the Endowments and the Personal Wealth and earnings of these 3 men by today’s standard of income is still staggering. It is documented that John D. Rockefeller at his death in 1937 was only worth $336 Billion Dollars.
The Computer Age, the Age of Technology is another exciting era in the history and the development of man, as it has drastically changed the way we communicate in our personal life and in business.
Communication in every field of life from Government, Education, Medical, Military, Entertainment, Business, Big and Small, Home, Personal the Young and the Elderly has been affected. We can accurately predict that this change will carry over to the next era, as the Industrial Revolution and the American Revolution forever changed the way of life for Citizens of that era and there-after. We can expect that the Age of Technology will forever determine the way future generations communicate.
The American Revolution had Henry Ford, John D. Rockefeller, and Andrew Carnegie. The early Computer Age has Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Steve Job, who made great contributions towards the field of computer science.
You and I as Entrepreneurs, Small Business Owners, Service & Sales Representative, Corporate and Business Managers, as we embrace Social Media into our business we have to REMEMBER that the learning curve of these strategies is going to be challenging to our Growth, Financial Expense and Time, often it may appear as if we’re experiencing a setback, while in essence we’re experiencing a part of growth in a New Industry.
Knowing that every success starts with a DREAM and a GOAL, let’s forge ahead in the face of all advertises, choosing to smile knowing that the outcome is VICTORIOUS. We have chosen to dedicate our time, learning and skills to maximize the optimum potential of the methodical use of Computer Science in our business.
