Joy
The most pleasant emotion a human or an animal can experience.
We cannot hold it, neither can we touch the emotion of Joy.
However, when the emotion of joy is present.
Undoubtedly, everyone knows that joy is present, joy is in the room, joy in the house, joy is in the atmosphere!!!
Joy is accompanied with smiles of laughter, excitement, enthusiasm, jumping for joy, running, skipping, whistling, pumping of fist and other expressive emotions of joy.
Joy is an emotion we try to extend for a long duration of time.
The excitement of Joy may last a second, a few hours or for days depending on the celebration.
From birth some babies are born with a smile, which often follows with a peaceful cheerful personality.
As we mature, we soon begin to understand that life is not always fair and just. Many injustices are woven into society. For example, a man and a woman, doing the same job with the same qualifications. However, the woman receives less in salary than the man.
As we mature into adulthood, we realize the importance of cultivating a calm, pleasant, peaceful personality. As difficult as the above example is.
If that woman had cultivated strength of joy within her; such cultivation would have allowed her to maintain the fortitude of joy, which will ultimately bring her to a place of greater and more equivalent joy, than her male counterpart who received more salary than she did.
Joy is a pure quality, which always bears good, abundant fruits in our lives.
Fear
Is a negative emotion. Sometimes the good intention to train, or to discipline a person, results in a bad experience for the person, leaving them fearful and afraid of the training!
As the emotions goes unrecognized, it grows and matures into a greater negative emotion, which then requires a lot of understanding and love to be rooted up.
Fear is the biggest hindrance, the greatest blockage, of all sabotage against man's worthy goal of success.
In the graveyard of all dreams, the heights of fear reigns supreme.
How do you combat fear?
Some of the ways to combat fear, is through prayer, meditation, mentorship and motivational quotes and reading.
I would conclude this page, with a phenomenal writing by the renowned author Marianne Williamson entitled, "Our Deepest Fear".
After reading this page, entitled Motivational Quotes, my desire for you my dear and cherished readers. As it is written in Deuteronomy 1:11 "The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times more as you are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!"
May the meditation of the scripture verse, the guidance of Ms. Williamson's poem. enlighten you to further depths of greatness, drawing upon the wealth of knowledge within you.
Our Deepest Fear
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
